SAP Basis HANA & Non HANA Consultant (m/f/d)
Role description/Skills required
Must have skills*
- Hands-on experience in Hana Database Installation, upgrade and tuning for supporting SAP landscapes
- Experience in migration of SAP environments to HANA DB
- Hands-on experience of SAP Basis Administration in ABAP and JAVA systems namely, ECC, BW, Portal, BO, BPC, CRM
- Support and maintain multi-landscape SAP environments.
- Have worked on Daily health-checks of the system and troubleshooting any critical alerts for ECC, BW, EP, PI, BO,Solution manager and other SAP product suite apps.
- Apply SAP Notes, SAP Patches, SAP Add-Ons, EHP Packages, kernel upgrades etc through all systems using a structured methodology maintenance
- Manage Client Copies, System Refreshes, Profile maintenance, Printer spool and Output devices management.
- Hands on experience in configuring SAP Transport paths and troubleshooting Transport issues.
- Ability to perform SAP installation, System copy and Upgrade activities.
- Database administration (DB2, HANA) e. g. backup database, manage database performance by performing data purging, archiving, database reorganizations as needed, database upgrade
- Good understanding of Windows OS, Unix-Linux OS administration
- Should have DB2 administration skills in DB2 9.7,10.1,10.5
- Should have skills DB2 backup restore and recovery
- DB2 installation, upgradation and fix pack installation
- Good knowledge of SAP installations
- Good communication skills and excellent team skills
- SAP Basis Experience of around 4+ years
Good to have skills*
- Experience of migration to Cloud is an added advantage
- Experience in HPUX, Windows, AS/400 will be an added advantage
- Experience of SAP Heterogeneous migrations- Hands-on experience in AIX and Linux operating system for supporting SAP landscapes
Key responsibilities*
The associate will need to play a pivotal role in the project. He will need to liaise with the customer, provide solution and consulting, He will be the primary technical lead in the project and drive the migration project from the start to the end.
