Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Director of Medical Affairs, Global in relation to collaboration with our Asia partner, in development of Asia-specific Medical Strategic Plans and Tactics.
- Support the efforts to ensure consistency and alignment with our partner in relation to the Global Medical Affairs Strategy and all relevant resources
- Provide support and project management for specific projects within the Global Medical Affairs function, such as website initiatives, medical communications, and medical training plans, in line with the global medical strategy
- Review critical commercial and medical materials from the Asia markets
- Ensure that partner activities within the Asia market are aligned with local compliance codes and regulations
- Support the provision of medical assets to the Asia markets
- Provide ad hoc support and review of key medical activities such as global advisory boards, train the trainer events and congress/online webinars in Asia
- Represent Medical Affairs at key internal and external meetings with our partner
- Present data on product / disease area at internal training sessions and external meetings with Fosun, as delegated
- Serve as a key medical resource on the disease area and on specific product. Maintain a high level of expertise on the disease area.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulations, guidelines codes of practices and BioNtech policies related to all medical activities
Candidate Experience:
- Pharmacist, PhD or MD
- Minimum 3 years of experience in biopharmaceutical medicine, preferably within a matrix or franchise structure.
- Experience in Medical Affairs in Asia level (with China coverage) is a must
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential
- Robust understanding of Asia regulations and Codes of Practice (China is mandatory and Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan are highly preferable)
- Experience in leading brand or disease strategy at a country or regional level is preferred
- Experience in the disease area of interest through clinical experience, biopharmaceutical experience or education preferred
