Your Skills
- Excellent understanding of ServiceNow CSDM V3, Discovery & Service Mapping
- ITIL Expert
- Experience as a Configuration Manager in large global enterprise companies
- Certifications as ITIL Expert or ServiceNow Certifications (nice to have)
- English (must have), German (optional)
Your Tasks
- Performing ServiceNow Discovery processes and troubleshooting the errors that arise
- CI Integration and field mapping from ServiceNow discovery and other permanent or ad hoc loads in the configuration management module
- Perform and resolving change reconciliations for data in the CMDB
- Assist with audits of CMDB data to ensure that the data is accurate and with audits of CMDB data to ensure that the data is accurate
- Lead in the implementing integrations for gathering, populating, and maintaining discovered CMDB data, develop and perform automated discovery procedures and monitor their error logs
- Provide visibility to the performance and issues related to CMDB
- Documenting procedures for the discovery and configuration management functions
- Review and modify existing ServiceNow CMDB patterns as needed
- Analyze exceptions related patterns and assist with modification to out of the box configurations
- Explore and identify data attributes required in the CMDB that can be populated using discovery
- Ensure discovery of new and existing application components, and automated population of CMDB data
- Ensure that the Discovery tool has the appropriate access and permissions to capture configuration information
- Obtain, continuously monitor, troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to credentials for CMDB
- Developing, modifying, and configuring reports, dashboards, and outputs associated with discovery functions
- Provide support in the operation and maintenance of the CMDB including but not limited to, discovery schedules, credentials and other operational activities
