"Configuration and support of applications and services related to data engineering and data science deployed
in
both private and public clouds
"Support and interact with data scientists and data engineers
"Accomplish improvement in performance, reliability, and automation levels.
"Resolve incidents and change requests
"Write technical documentation and apply best practices
"Deliver new services for the Global Data Platform (GDP)
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

A successful candidate is expected to
provide the following knowledge:
"Advanced knowledge in either Kubernetes or Hashicorp Nomad
"Advanced experience with Docker containers
"Kafka and Spark (administration and recovery in existingdeployments; programming internals)
"Development of CI/CD pipelines for Gitlab / Jenkins
"Strong knowledge in developing shell scripts (Bash or other POSIX shell)
"Familiarity with Python language (deploy packages; build and distribute python environments), preferably in
the
context of data science
"General understanding of Networking and IT Security Principles
Also, highly desirable knowledge that would highlight your profile:
"Elasticsearch (maintenance and operation of existing deployments, preferably within an orchestrator such as
Kubernetes or Nomad)
"Knowledge of the internals in data science tools such as Jupyter notebooks, R-Studio and Zeppelin notebooks
"Tools such as Airflow, Luigi and MLFlow
"Solid knowledge in GIT version control system
"Advanced Linux knowledge
"DevOps mindset (you build it, you own it)
"Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, German language is a plus
