Background:
The service of the contractor has the goal to provide the software enhancements according to the change requests. The projects have the purpose to improve the IDH (Material Master) Creation Process which is crucial in reducing time-to-market (of a new product launch) and raising process quality/efficiency across all Businesses.
Tasks:
The service of the contractor is delivered using an agile working method. External resources are needed as there is no internal staff with the required expertise in the following area:
* SAP ABAP Development herefore, the external consultant is in a unique position and performs significantly different tasks than the internal employees.
* Provide Functional and Technical Designs to the Business/IT counterpart to facilitate sign-off and approval from Business;
* Develop, configure & customize in the SAP Webdynpro / SAP GUI (Graphical User Interface) based on the requirements provided by business and revised by IT consultant;
* Providing technical documentation to IT consultant
* Creating training documentation (sign off by the client required) & Conducting key user training sessions with respect to the User Interface; about 6 key user trainings foreseen (online sessions)
* Functional Testing of the solution (unit testing, User Acceptance Testing by Business)
* Planning & reporting of the assigned work packages as defined by Project Management in Jira tool (effort estimations and reporting actual efforts) for the weekly Sprint planning sessions. The contractor receives access to the Jira tool in advance.
Skills:
* SAP ABAP Programming
o OOP
- Object Oriented Programming
o Creation and handling of data structures, tables and objects using field symbols
* SAP WD ABAP
o FPM - Floor Plan Manager
o Create Screen Elements using dynamic programming (using Runtime classes)
* Interfaces o RFC, XML (SOAP), File, IDOCS and ODATA
* Knowledge about workflow automatization
* SAP Master Data knowledge with expertise in Material Master from a techno functional perspective.
* Experienced in at least 3-4 full lifecycle implementation projects involving Material Master Data.
* Knowledge of SAP Data Model, especially Material Master.
* Conceptual knowledge of SCM processes with expertise in the area of SAP MM, SD and PP.
* Experienced in Integrating cross-work stream topics.
* Experienced/Capable of creating Training Documentation and conducting end user training sessions.
* Experienced in Test Management. (Creating Test plans, coordinating testing among stakeholders, resolving issues etc.)
