Tätigkeit:For one of our customers from finance sector we are looking for a junior IT Security Consultant (f/m). Project Description and Scope: Temporary refill of a position during long term absence of responsible employee. Function does cover the documentation process of IT platforms in finance sector to be included in IT Security Monitoring (SecMon). Within a given Onboarding Framework each platform has do document the system specific Security Monitoring Events, required to alert for pre-defined scenarios (e. g. Brute Force Attack, Change of Security Settings). Those events are defined and documented NOT by this position but by the responsible Platform specialists. This Position reviews completeness, quality of the documents and requests review by internal IT Security Groups, manages potential enhancements and hand-over to ArcSight Security Monitoring Teams. Deliverables: Weekly status reports on progress of Event Documentation Sets with responsible Platform Contacts. Coordinate and support documentation efforts. Track progress and completion. Hand-over of Document Sets to Engineering Teams according Work-Flow. Skill Type Notes: Skill Type Notes : Basic understanding and Experience of IT Security Event Monitoring for standard Platforms (i. e. Windows Server, Unix, Linux, Oracle, Sybase). Experienced in Corporate Environment Project and Task coordination CSSIP preferred German / English Skill Set: Basic understanding and Experience of IT Security Event Monitoring processes for standard Client Server Database Platforms (i. e. Windows, Unix, Linux, Oracle, Sybase). Experienced in Corporate Environment Project and Task coordination Basic Knowledge around Security Monitoring tools (e. g. Syslog and HP ArcSight) - NO hands-on Admin skills required - we are looking for a junior IT Security Consultant, not an experienced System Admin CSSIP preferred German / EnglishObjectives : Fill-in tasks of an existing Work-flow.
