We are now looking for an Senior Backend Engineer for 3-4 months for the team which focuses on bringing the process for financing and buying cars closer to an e-commerce process to make a better online experience.You will play a key role in changing the way customers find and buy their next car to a completely online experience.
Your Job
- You will work on integrating a global vehicle inventory DB of a major car manufacturer into their platform and also work on integrating a leasing flow including additional services for a brand new electric vehicle.
- Work closely with the Product Manager, designers and engineering individual contributors in your team to define feature specifications for the best user-centric products
- Create and maintain consumer product and features
- Contribute to the team's work with peer reviews and testing
- Work closely with team and the backend community across other teams to build and scale backend services for our platform
Requirements
You can start sometime before mid-February and are available for a period of 3-4 months
You have 5+ years in Java 8, Spring Framework and (non-) relational databases
You have a strong understanding for developing and maintaining microservices using Spring Boot, as well as AWS and Kubernetes for deploying applications
You have experience with Go and Kotlin
Ideally you have been working with Data Pipelines / ETLs
You have working experience in agile/scrum
You have excellent English communication skills and an abundance of passion and enthusiasm for creating product

Team Setup
The team is made up of a Product Manager, a Product Designer (Client), an Engineering Manager (Client) and 4-5 Software Engineers (all MVPF/MVPMatch).
