Our client is a Germany based Security Guard Service company, and is looking for a Senior Software Architect. Their current CTO (who is also the Architect) is going on a sabbatical with his family and the client needs someone with experience in the tech stack and leadership skills to bridge that gap until the CTO returns.The API is written in Typescript and runs on Firebase with Node 10. They also use Github for their code and Github Actions to deploy the code to Firebase. Furthermore, they use Braintree for some services + post ident for identification, they also use a certain hardware system for the boxes that is controlling the weight inside the boxes and is connected to their own API, they use user-centric for DVGO automation and prismic as CMS. Their mobile app is written in React native
The whole team is made out of freelancers and they are used to working in such a setup.
Schedule:
5 days per week for the first 4 weeks
3 days per week from March 8th, 2021 to March 7th, 2022
Your Job
Get onboarded by CTO in order to fill their role until they are back from sabbatical
Manage the team in their day to day activities
Fix issues that may/will come up
Maintain high-security standards of the application
Provide technical consulting to product team when discussing new features
Requirements
You've lead a team before
You have architected a software solution in a cloud services- oriented environment
Should be comfortable with tackling issues on the backend, frontend and mobile side of the business
Some knowledge/experience using Google Cloud Services
You like Typescript more than Javascript and are ready to advocate why.
Nice to have
German speaking is a big plus
