For a customer in Bavaria we are currently looking for several

MS System Engineers (m/f/d)

Role description / Skills required
- We will build a competence team of 5 consultants in total, so not every consultant has to fulfill all of the skills.

- Responsibility – HW integration and certification, Incident and Problem Management, Request Fulfilment, Lab-Testing
- Windows 10, Android, Windows Mobile 6.1
- Web portal system update and management
- Networking basics (CCNA certification, at least some of the levels; knowledge in HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, SSH, TELNET, SNMP, FTP)
- Mobile Device Management (Intune, AirWatch, SCCM)
- Image Management (MDT, Autopilot)
- Application Packaging (Orca, AdminStudio, MSIX, App-V AppX, AppDNA)
- Group Policy, Configuration Baselines, DSC, On-prem or Azure AD
- Microsoft platforms including Configuration Manager CB
- Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- SCCM Operating System Deployment (PXE, Feature Updates, In Place Upgrades)
- SCOM (System Center Operation Manager)
- PowerShell automation and administration
- VBScript automation and administration
- Microsoft server certification (MCP, MCTS, MCSA, MSCE)
- Deployed applications to endpoints using SCCM or other remote tools (HEAT, RES)
- Automated complex software installation or API integration via PowerShell and Bash
- Designed, configured, and implemented a device management solution to support 10k+ devices
- Available for travel on rotation basis within Bavaria
- Client communication

1-2 Consultants will need 24x7 clearance to the data centres in order to perform simple tasks based on guidance from a remote team like:

- Power cycling of servers and switches (Dell servers and switches, Arista switches, Netscaler components)
- Switching cables
- Onsite inspection of the hardware
- Moving, racking and stacking of servers
- Preferred, but not obligatory: Ability to exchange hot-pluggable components in the servers like HDD, fans, power supplies and DIMM
