Our customer is a worldwide DAX corporation in the chemical sector. Here we are currently looking for a project-related project at the location Cologne/Düsseldorf for aSenior Fullstack Developer Python and Javascript (m/w/d)
Duration: 6 months with option to extend
Location: Langenfeld (40% remote / 60% onsite after Covid)

Tasks:
• Be a key member of the European team and help farmers to get access to data driven insights from their fields
• Managing and supporting the development of both front-end applications and back-end services
• Be part of a collaborative team of developers, data scientists, agronomists and engineers that solve real world problems in farming
• Work in a cross functional SCRUM team with end-to end-product responsibility
• Design and develop full stack web applications by evaluating, prototyping and implementing robust and scalable technical solutions
• Work with a state-of-the-art technical solution stack and access to consultants, trainings and conferences
• Improve the DevOps concept including infrastructure as code, test automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, monitoring etc. to ensure a fast delivery pipeline
Your Profile:
• Long-term experience developing full stack web applications,
• Excellent knowledge of modern JavaScript framework (React/VueJS preferred), with building automation such as Grunt, Gulp, Brunch as well as strong knowledge of standards like HTML5, CSS3, browser API’s, OAuth and web security
• Excellent knowledge and project experience in backend development using Python OR Go to develop REST APIs, ideally with experience in API documentation and mock services such as Swagger, SQL, relational and non-relational databases, with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless computing
• Further experienced with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, test automation, continuous delivery and monitoring as well as with software testing and practices like TDD, Unit-, End2End-testing and testing frameworks
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a cross-functional global team
• Passion to solve difficult problems in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as being open-minded and challenging the status quo
• Excellent communication skills in English
