Freelance Data engineer:Location: Frankfurt (Remote)
Project Length: 6 months
My client is a visionary fintech organization aiming to shake up how people save & invest money, by making it fast, easily accessible, and secure, is looking to build up its Data team. My client needs a freelancer who can bring a depth of knowledge and experience that will help in the formation and support of a strong data engineering team.
Your tasks:
Build, maintain, and improve our data processing and analytical platforms
Analyze existing data and work closely with web analysts. Establish processes to ensure data quality and data security.
Support the insight team with more complex or novel data processing tasks
This includes the construction, maintenance, and continuous improvement of databases and big data applications in addition to making architectural decisions.
Build and maintain new integrations to ingest and integrate new sources of data
Key Skills:
4+ Years’ experience with data engineering
You master at least one JVM Language(Java/Scala/Python) and SQL and have developed knowledge of BI applications
Experience with Data streams and distributed systems
Cloud knowledge and CI/CD Know-how
