For one of our customer we are looking for 2 VMWare Consultants:As a staff member you are responsible for the engineering of new regional solutions regarding server virtualization technologies.
DIMENSIONS / CONTEXT / DEDICATION
- Driving forward the evolution of the server virtualization platform, gradually evolving to the private cloud concept
- BAU activities in the technology domain
- Level 2 and 3 support for virtualization related incidents +amp; problems
- Participation in projects
- Knowledge Transfer to Level 1
- Consultancy +amp; Feedback towards Operational departments, SDA community
Technical prerequisites
Mandatory knowledge and experience in following areas:
- VMWare vSphere 4.x , vCenter, VCB, SRM
- Windows Server 2003 +amp; 2008
- Server Hardware (IBM xSeries is a bonus)
- PowerShell scripting
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas is an asset:
- VMWare View or other VDI solutions
- Microsoft Cluster system
- HP and/or Dell Hardware
- SAN HBA usage +amp; connectivity
- LAN NIC usage +amp; connectivity
- Directory Services (AD/LDAP awareness to enable central security mgnt)
- english language Skills !
Start: asap
Location: 1 consultant in Cologne and one consultant in Brussels
Duration: 3-6 months
