Job Title / Position
Construction Manager
Key Role & Responsibility
• To plan and manage over all On Site Execution of Project from planning, monitoring, supervision, inspection, ware house management & material control/coordination, billing and complete coordination & control of all Site Activities till Mechanical Completion including support for pre-commissioning/commissioning and hand over to Client in line with Terms of Contract adhering to required Quality and Safety Standards

Technical / Subject Knowledge / Skills
• Experience of Chemical /Sp. Chemical Projects / Petrochemical Plant
• Experience of working in Germany / Local German Language
• Experience as Site Construction In-charge for large / medium size industries like Chemical / Sp. Chemical and Utilities etc.
• Experience in Project Planning/ Construction Management/ Construction of EPC/LSTK project involving Civil/ Structural works, Mechanical Works, Piping, Heavy Equipment, Electrical/ Instrumentation works, etc.
• Experience in shutdown works in Projects.
• Guide and lead a team of engineers/ subcontractors to achieve desired progress and to take adequate and timely corrective actions to ensure completion of project as per targeted schedule.
• Experience in Site Mobilization and day to day site administration.
• Knowledge of compliance of various site related HSE standards/ regulations & security requirements.
• Ensure QA/QC req. as per company Quality Policy & approved quality plans.
• Experience in coordination with various Contractors and handling skills in Contracts Management/ Administration.
• Initiate changes in drawings/ work orders/ change orders etc., if required in consultation with Home office. Mechanical Completion & Compile and follow up liquidation of punch list.
• Co-ordinate/Participate in meetings with Clients, External agencies/Vendors etc.
• Should have very good interpersonal and communication skills and work effectively with diverse business units.
• To guide team from constructability issue during design phase.
• Monitoring project with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, to ensure timely execution of projects.
• Defining roles & responsibility of CM team members (RACI) & deployment of joint team
• Update all stake holders regarding site status through regular progress updates
• Follow escalation mechanism to address any critical issues.

Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering-Mechanical / Civil
Years of Experience : +10 Yrs.
