Wir suchen für unseren Kunden in Bayern einen Senior Entwickler (m/w/d) mit Fokus auf Java und PL/1.Fokus ist hier die Code Conversion von PL/1 zu Java.
Es geht um folgendes:
Tasks:
• Design, implementation and testing of features of a JAVA library (runtime library) for a PL/1-to-JAVA code conversion
• Participate in design discussions and solution definition
• Implementation and testing of the features
• Test support: Contribute to root cause analysis in case of issues (debugging, diagnosis, and root cause analysis, based on automated unit and integration tests)
• Maintain and extend the unit test suite
• Contribute to technical documentation
Qualification – mandatory:
• JAVA JRE 8/11 (expert)
• PL/1 (or Cobol) development experience (medium)
• Junit
• Sprint Boot
• SQL
Qualification – optional:
• Linux and scripting
• Git / GitLab
• JAVA byte code generation tools like byte buddy
• JNA hands-on experience for invoking C/C++
• Legacy application migration (conversion) experience
• JCL basic knowledge
Soft Skills / Education:
• Proficient in English language
• Remote, travel in Europe on demand
