Our client is a leading international automotive company.
For their R&D group in Cologne we are currently hiring for a Java Software Development engineer.
Task Description:
- The team has the global lead for charging functionality and will build related IT capabilities. The team will be leveraging the global footprint for software delivery to enable quick delivery through agile methodology and product team delivery model.
- Develop an excellent understanding of the system and on how to support end-to-end feature delivery (Vehicle, Cloud, 3rd Party Providers)
- As part of the team the software developer has responsibilities to Define, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy applications/services to support new capabilities
- Ensure quality, on-time delivery using agile, test driven development principles.
- Collaborate with global teams
Required Skills
- related work experience of 3 years plus
- Java development experience
- experience in Cloud development (PCF, Azure or AWS)
- Test Driven Development and Agile methodology experience
- experience with designing Web Services and APIs
- Degree level qualification
- fluent English, German NOT essential
