Position Overview
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is responsible for the effective management of operational aspects of IT services for client. He is responsible for day to day operations and engaging with customers and contributing to IT Strategies for the client & coordinating the various projects initated by them & focus on the Continuous Service improvement and value add initiatives. He is also responsible for leading the team of Operation Managers and Technical leads & liaising with vendors on day to day operations. Work experience in Germany and Automobile industry would be added advantage.



Key Responsibility
• Delivering Services to the customer according to the contract and adherence to agreed SLAs & KPIs
• Contribute significantly to the management of IT Services for the customer & helping client on defining new IT Policies.
• Participate in periodic reviews with Customer and vendor representatives
• Managing the customer Expectations, Escalations & Problem
• Establishing the policies and procedures in consultation with customer and ensuring regular update for improvement of the services.
• Provide the periodical and other ad-hoc reports as per the contract to the customer
• Building strong relationship with the customer
• Delivering Continues improvement and values add.
• Ensure that the projects initiated by the customer are completed as per the agreed timelines, costs, etc and relevant proposals are submitted within the stipulated timeframe.
• 3rd Party vendor management and contract negotiating skills
• Managing the PnL for the Steady state operations
• Working with Account Management team to bring the new business
• Participating in the Audit initated by the customer our organization.
• Managing of team members
• Motivation of individuals and promoting team work.
• Development of technical and personal skills for team members
• Address suitable career development of team
• Maintain awareness of customer’s business and IT’s role
• Managing different vendors
• Avoid unnecessary conflicts and should know how to escalate issues
• Should be able to adjust to people, culture, policies and situations



Skills, Experience and Qualification

• Education qualification Engineering/MBA
• Total 12+ years of experience with minimum 3 years of SDM role
• Good Leadership skills
• Excellence Interpersonal and communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Good understanding of ITIL process and knowledge on ITSM tools
• Experience of Managing team from different country
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Must have working experience to work with global customer & IT outsourcing
• Must Fluently speak German and English Language
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility with respect to time
• Ability to resolve conflict
• Strong sense of ownership
• Ready to Relocate if required.
