Android Developer required for medical services client in Munich.
As the sole Android Engineer on the team you will continue to build and maintain the flagship of our clients product.
Your experience working with lean product teams and building beautiful mobile applications will allow you to efficiently turn business requirements and user stories into finished features.
You will work in conjunction with our Backend, Dev-Ops, and iOS engineers to determine the most efficient way to implement a given feature and to identify the cause of issues as they are raised by our users.
Required skills
5+ years experience with Android development
In-depth knowledge and experience of Kotlin
Experience with MVVM Architecture pattern
Experience with Android material design and UI Guidelines
Experience with dependency injection libraries
Experience with Android testing tools (Espresso, mockito, powermock...)
Experience with data visualisation using chart libraries or bespoke development
Experience building localised apps and ideally using Phrase localisation platform or similar
Experience with modern build pipelines and tools (Fastlane, Github Actions)
Experience building solutions against RESTful APIs on AWS (or any other cloud provider)
Drive to write your own tests (automated UI, unit, functional, and integration)
Desirable experience with profiling and optimising applications (memory usage, SQL queries, etc.)
Great English communication skills - both written & verbal (German not required)
