Role: Network Engineer – L3
Duration of Project: 24 Months
Work location: Delkenheim, Germany (Close to Wiesbaden)
Remote work possibility: No remote work. Client policy applies during COVID
Language Requirement: English is mandatory, German language preferable

Job Description :
Minimum Skills Required: Candidate should be at least CCNP certified
Candidate should have Advanced level knowledge on below topics:
o MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS
o VLANs, VTP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, VPC
o IPSEC, GRE, IP SLA
o Network Troubleshooting (LAN/WAN/Wireless)
o Traffic analysis skills using packet capture tools like Wireshark, OPNET etc.
o Good Knowledge on IOS-XR/IOS-XE/IOS platform and deep dive knowledge on one platform.
o Cisco Routers, Switches, WLC, Nexus CLI Hands on
o Cisco ACI (VXLAN, BD, EPG, L3Out, Contract, AEP, Physical Domain, Endpoint Types, Fabric, Leaf to Leaf communication, Route Leaking, L4-L7, Fabric Upgrade process etc.)
o Cisco SDWAN, Cisco Wireless, ISE NAC
o F5 Load Balancers, Riverbed WAN Accelerators, Extreme Switching & Wireless
Desired Skills CCIE certification would be an added advantage
Previous exposure in working for a large geographically distributed company will be an added advantage
Knowledge of tools like Remedy, IPAM, BCAN, SolarWinds, Stealth Watch, Splunk etc.
Should have Design, Build and Manage experience on Network Infrastructure
Good knowledge of ITIL framework and good exposure of Service Management
Experience in the design and documentation of SOPs
Must have worked in NOC environment
Good Analytical, Troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills
Good communication and collaboration skills

Years of exp needed: 8-10 years

Roles and Responsibilities post joining:

Handling Daily incidents, problems. Provide Escalation Support.
Driving of Critical incidents with Incident Management Team, WAR Room & coordinating with different teams for the same.
Coordinating with various Vendors, FT logging and follow up.
Preparation & Timely submission of RCAs, Documentation, preparing reports & Presentations (if need be).
Implementation of change and ensuring relevant documentation.
Work in shifts and provide after-hour/weekend on call support when required.
Execution of daily, weekly & monthly check lists & reporting.
Monitoring Operations Incident Queue.
Knowledge Management – Prepare SOPs, Build Knowledge Materials, Knowledge sharing with team members etc.
