Occupancy: full time, 90% remote
Tasks:
Keeping the VMware infrastructure running
• Incident / Problem Management / Change Management in the context of problem solving, possibly via remote access (on-call service)
• Changes - update of system or system-related software (new patches)
• Implementation of security telegrams (security-relevant patches)
• Security management (virus scan, CERT)
Automation & Solution Design
• Develop solution proposals for the automation of recurring tasks, including implementation in PowerCLI / vRO / HPOO
• Develop proposed solutions for cloud solutions (vCD with NSX)
• Develop solution proposals for the design of vSphere / NSX / SRM including implementation.
Qualifications:
• Many years of profound expertise with VMware
• VMware vSphere expertise
• VMware vCenter expertise
• Knowledgeable about VMware NSX
• Knowledge of VMWare SRM
• Knowledge of VMWare vCD & VMWare vRO
