NextLink are working with an istanlty recosgnisable global organisarion who are seeking a Java Developer on a long term contract basis for their Cologne offices.
The role will mainly consist of design, construction, documentation and maintenance of J2EE system components including web applications, Server Side components, and integration with other systems.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of two years commercial experience developing Java/J2EE applications.
- Good Java/J2EE web application development experience.
- Good Java/J2EE Server Side development experience.
- Good Java XML experience using standard XML tools/libraries including SOAP protocol.
- Expert knowledge of web technologies, thorough extensive working experience with HTML, CSS and
- JavaScript and at least one JavaScript frameworks (JQuery, React, Vue.JS, Bootstrap and AngularJS).
- Sound understanding and practical experience in object-oriented design and development using
- Java/J2EE.
- Good SQL skills.
Nice to Have Experience
- JBoss Application Server 4 and/or 5 experience
- WebLogic Application Server 11g, 12c, 14c experience including JMS and/or clustering
- JDBC experience
- Object Relational Mapping experience
- Experience with API driven development and single page application (SPA) development
