1. Identify the major activities needed to extend the business application to provide reporting to Field users for all channels add the FAM and MSM transactions to the reporting.This work will be done in conjunction with the current team, MI team & the enterprise architect team who already have much of the required information
The analysis should identify and consolidate major developments, interfaces and infrastructures required to extend the scope with estimated timescales and costs.
2. Based on the target application scope prepare a requirements document in the form of RFP so that potential vendors (x 1) can respond and clearly show how well their solution fits with the requirements and the costs, timescales etc needed to implement.
3. Based on the 2 above inputs prepare a recommendation on the optimal choice for our client to provide reporting for all levels of users for all field transactions.
- Consultant on architecture, esp. On dataware housing and crm (operational and analytical)
- Strong in assessing AS-architecture for reporting solution
- Draft solution options, e.g.:
o Inhouse vs. outsourced
o Buy or build/“extend existing”
o Reference architecture
- Assignement: 3-4 weeks to complete assessment of different solution options (3 at least) , recommend migration path from AS to strategic choice
Needed profile:
- Experienced consultant with solution architecture background, specifically around data
warehouse and reporting SFA(sales force automation)
- Project management capability
- Experience of RFPs and vendor / solution evaluation
- Self starter, ability to work without close supervision
- Logical thinking and structured analysis / presentations
- Able to distill the essential facts from the technical complexity and clearly articulate
recommendations with supporting facts
