For a customer of ours in Munich we are currently searching for a Strategical IT Purchaser (f/m)Location: Munich
Position Description:
- Take over complex procurement projects based several years of professional IT procurement expertise with proven track records covering all relevant IT topics.
- shall be able to act as a stand-in for the Manager IT Procurement
- Development of procurement strategies
- Purchasing of hardware, software, networks and services
- Work with IT departments on analysis and supplier assessments
- Negotiations with suppliers
- Analyse costs, identify opportunities, clarify business contracts across IT portfolio.
- Provision of market analysis, business cases, financial analysis etc.
- Governance and continuous process improvement of procurement processes
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration or Law or equivalent practical experience
- Additional studies or equivalent in informatics preferably
- Good knowledge in national and international contract law
- Experience in cost analysis and decision making
- Analytical thinking, problem solving skills, self-started, strong communicator Strong personality with consulting skills
- A hands-on, goal-oriented, experienced negotiator
- Experience in multinational environment
- German and English negotiation and contract proficiency
- Minimum 5 years professional IT procurement experience and portfolio/vendor management experience
