Our client, a large data science consultancy firm, is searching for a Data Engineer for a 3 month Remote contract starting 1st October. The end client is in the chemical industry. Please see the below project description and must-have skills. This is a German speaking role.Project description
The Data Engineer is used in a new project to verify invoices. A PoC for a data source must be carried out. Here, different data sources have to be connected (databases, XML from SAP web service, CSV, document interface not yet defined) and the corresponding data pipelines have to be built up and scaled. The application architecture must be designed and implemented in AWS.
Tasks/Scope of services
- Development of an architectural concept in AWS
- Selection of suitable technologies
- Development of a CI/CD pipeline
- Implementation of data pipelines
- Support with data analysis
- Possible productive implementation of machine learning models
Profile/Skillset
- Experience Data Engineer comfortable working independently
- Several years of experience with data integration/ETL, AWS
- XML, CI/CD, Experienced
- Fluent German
