Job Title: Senior Developer / Designer (Data Warehousing)
Contract Duration: between 3 months and 3 years
Workload: 100%
Work location: remote working ((but might be asked to be present onsite later)

Key Responsibilities:
Design and construction of Data Warehousing Systems and System Components.
Design and construction of Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes / system interfaces.
Design and construction of SQL Stored Procedures.
Design and construction of Multidimensional On-line Analytical Processing (MOLAP), Relational
OLAP (ROLAP) and Hybrid OLAP (HOLAP) systems using Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI).
Logical data modelling and physical database design.
Tuning of Data Warehousing processes (e.g. cube builds, ETL processes, etc.)
Providing support to other developers for the development of complex reports using data extracted
from the Data Warehouse.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of commercial experience in Data warehousing.
Other experience in IT as an Analyst Programmer or database administrator and/or data modeller for a minim of 4 years.
Successful experience in multiple projects in developing Data Warehouses using Microsoft Business
Intelligence (BI) including data warehousing features and data visualization using Power BI
Successful experience in multiple projects in developing at least one of ROLAP, MOLAP or HOLAP
using Microsoft BI.
Experience tuning SQL queries and database objects.
Sound understanding of the principles and practices of traditional data warehouse design including
ETL, ODS, DDS and Cube design and construction, as well as more modern approaches e.g. data
lakes, schema on read
Understanding of object-oriented design techniques.
Ability to work directly with business power users to understand business needs and develop/assist
development of solutions using BI tools.

Qlik Sense Enterprise
Experience with API driven development
