Your responsibilities· You review the client specifications and support tender activities
· You design and modify components and assemblies, including creation of drawings, bills of materials and test procedures
· You prepare engineering documentation such as operation and maintenance manuals, installation procedures and maintenance procedures
· You define functional requirements for purchased parts and clarification with suppliers
· You do design calculations and simulations (e.g. FEA)
· You support suppliers during project execution to ensure the equipment meets the technical requirements
· You are involved in failure investigations, creation of rework and retest instructions, as well as investigation reports
· You are in charge of technical support and interface clarifications with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
Our requirements
You are the best fit for us, if you:
· Have a degree in mechanical engineering (Bachelor / Master) or comparable
· Have knowledge and experience in design engineering, entry-level applicants are also welcome
· Have good written and spoken German and English (English & German language level B1)
· Have good communication skills
· Have good computer knowledge (MS Office)
· Have good knowledge in 2D and 3D CAD programs
· Have good knowledge in FEA calculation
· Are competent in persuasion as well as decisiveness, self-reliance and teamwork
· Are willing to travel (
