SW Plattform Architect – 6 Month Contract – Munich

Amoria Bond is looking for a SW Plattform Architect to join one of our automotive clients in Munich. Our client, an established automotive business is offering this role on a 6 month contract basis.

The successful SW Plattform Architect will have Software Development experience along with Network Communication with Control Devices.

Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and configuration of the underlying software platform for various in-car high performance computers
• HPCs serving as central computing instance in the Body and the ADAS domain
• Capturing of vehicle feature requirements for the corresponding domain and derive corresponding software platform requirements
• Top-level planning of the software platform architecture (creation of block diagrams and high-level data flow)
• Identification of available solutions on the market in order to implement the software platform architecture, checking their suitability and identify gaps. Create recommendations and guidelines for configuration of those solutions
• Create a dedicated platform service layer architecture in order to close gaps identified above ("middleware layer") by providing additional OEM-specific services, including but not limited to areas such as e.g. diagnostics, vehicle status, data management, sensor fusion, connectivity, security.
• Refine platform service architecture and create detailed design (components diagram, internal structure of components/software modules and service, dynamic behavior (activates, state transitions) for specific platform services Documentation of suggested solutions

Requirements
Must have
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
• Very good knowledge of embedded/automotive software technologies and design patterns
• Experience with embedded/automotive software platform architectures and detailed design
• Very good knowledge of UML incl. corresponding modeling tools
• Technologies: At least two of preferred AUTOSAR Adaptive, AUTOSAR Classic, SOA (technology and design patterns), body and ADAS domain knowledge, vehicle to cloud, QNX/Linux, Android, virtualization in embedded systems, embedded Linux
• Good communication skill with a global team.
