? Application deployment
? System tuning
? Operation of high-availability production systems (transaction environments)
? 2nd and 3rd level infrastructure support for client systems (troubleshooting, issue resolution)
? Implementation of monitoring scenarios
? Infrastructure/operations input to presales and proposal efforts
Requirements (Must have):
? Excellent Unix / Linux Skills (Solaris, RedHat)
? Good knowledge of Apache Web Server and Tomcat Application Server
? Good knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (Perl or Shell)
? Basic knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 10g/11g and cluster technologies (RAC, Sun Cluster)
? Java skills beneficial
? Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, load balancing, WLAN, network security, IPSec
? Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
? Good English skills (One project in German and one in English)
? Self-starter attitude, pro-activeness, initiative and drive
? Analytical thinking and structured working approach
? Excellent troubleshooting skills
? Team player
? Readiness for occasional business travel
