We are seeking hands on “Application Manager (m/f/d) “for our customer in the telecom sector with the following basic conditions:Start: asap
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Bucharest Romania or Düsseldorf Germany
Key Tasks:
Accountable for Support & Operations operated by IT Services.
Ensures the delivery of the VMT service at agreed service levels to our customers, managing and working with all the internal and external partners in the support chain
Ensures management support for Major Incidents, 24x7 on-call basis
Take on end to end service ownership and manage all involved parties towards a SLA compliant delivery
Responsible to ensure technical service level compliance for services operated by Product Operations or by 3rd parties on behalf of PO.
Responsible for managing incidents and problems, including implementation of workarounds and changes, and for executing service requests, including on call duties.
Manage handover projects to PO service providers for Application Operations and ensure operational criteria are fulfilled in project gates for smooth transition of application operations activities without service quality disruptions.
Identify and implement best practice and process improvements with 3rd parties delivering application operation services to PO
Skills Set
Profound knowledge in IT delivery projects from application operations point of view
3 years of experience in managed operations of large-scale IT applications and services in multi-national environment
Expert in Infrastructure Technical Capabilities
>3 years of experience in managing 3rd parties to ensure services are delivered according to agreed SLA
Strong knowledge of operations management of high complex IT services
Deep understanding of operational procedures and process standards (. ITIL) and the ability to apply and evaluate them for continuous improvements in the service operations area.
Fluent English
IT/ Application Operating background and experience in managing complex technology based on ITIL best practice processes (must have)
4 to 6 years of experience in IT service provisioning (preference in banking or telecommunications industry) (must have)
Strong ability to understand goals which are cascaded through a hierarchy and work towards their prioritization and accomplishment in the department
Experience and background in a complex business environment and working in multicultural teams with a strong focus on supplier management
Experience and knowledge of mobile internet communication, protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations
IT / Tech degreee
