Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Ability to Administer and configure network devices based on Best practices and standards. Ensuring highest level of security for the configuration applied.
• Handle Day to Day network operations and effectively respond to Monitoring alerts,incident tickets, and email requests handled by Network Team.
• Ability to Identifies, analyses, and drives problems to resolution, handling small toIntermediate issues simultaneously while effectively communicating and engaginghigher technical peers
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure to ensure highest level of networkavailability and performance
• Manage wide area networking (WAN) links and internet services for HQ andremote sites
• Managing Published services ensuring highest level of availability and securityfor those services.
• Ability to Support, maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshoot network devices.
• Plan and implement any improvement, modification, or replacement of networkinfrastructure components
• Prepares and maintains technical documentation to guide network users, and toassist with the on?going operation, maintenance, and development of the network.
• Help in defining all network risks, single point of failure, and security holes that affectbusiness and provide best practice plans to overcome all these risks
• Carries out inspections and root cause analysis for network incidents andperformance issues and prepare final reports
• Upgrading firmware regularly, to resolving network firmware bugs, and closesecurity vulnerabilities.
• Working with Team members in Configuring, developing, integrating, implementingand new network solutions and products that derived by business needs
Technical Skillsets:
• Network Routing: OSPF, BGP, and VRF
• Network Switching: VLAN, VLAN trunking, STP, PVSTP, SPAN, VTP, port channel
• IP Services: HSRP, VRRP, NAT, NTP, SNMP, DHCP, WCCP, IP SLA, NETFLOW, and
• Syslog
• Router/ Firewall Mgmt.
• Load Balancer F5/Cisco ACE mgmt.
• Switch Port mgmt. Network Access Control Management
• Wi-Fi & VPN Management
• Backup and Restoration
• Network Security: ACL, TACACS, AAA, Port Security, DHCP Snooping, VPNTechnologies, SSL VPN, DMVPN, and Cisco ISE
• Network Management: Solarwinds, Cisco Prime, Manage Engine
• Network Optimization: Cisco QOS and F5 Load balancers
• Core Network Devices: Cisco Catalyst 6500 series, VSS, Cisco 3750, Cisco ACS, Cisco ASA5585?X, Cisco ASR Router. Nexus
• Certification: CCNP/CCIE certification in Network/Security will be advantage
