Ihre Aufgaben:
- You support an application and packaging team for the global rollout of Windows 7.
- The project ensures the availability / transition of required software from the current Windows XP / NetInstall platform on/to the Windows 7 / SCCM platform. Software is either packaged and distributed via SCCM or are web applications or manually installed applications
- We are looking for package engineers to build up an in-house MSI/SCCM Packaging team. The new packaging team will be part of a bigger team dealing with application packaging for approx. 80.000 clients globally.
- Most of the packages will be done externally.
- This team will concentrate on complex applications with close collaboration with the business.
- Creation of installation guides and test scripts will also be part of the job
Ihre Qualifikation
- Proven MSI packaging knowledge
- Adaptation on Packaging based on strict rules (follow Packaging Guideline rules and regulations)
- Install Shield, Orca, VB Scripting
- Operating system knowledge (Windows 7)
- Wrappers knowledge (silent setup wrappers; VB wrappers )
- Creation of Test Scripts and Installation Guides
- Software distribution on large scale
- Good SCCM knowledge
- Package dependency handling
- Willing to work even outside business hours
- Fluent English written and spoken, German of advantage
- Good communication skills
- Creativity and team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure
- Self-reliant
- Travel possible up to 25%
