My client is looking for Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management SME, and I wanted to know whether this would be of interest to you or not?

Position: Cybersecurity Vulnerability Management SME

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Duration: 4+months

Rate: 500 Euro Per day

Location: Remote in Germany. Once Corona restrictions are over, flexible to travel "Heidenheim an der Brenz", Near Stuttgart.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for deployment and configuring of vulnerability management solution (Tenable SC).
  • Should have detailed knowledge of Vulnerability Management process and should be able to prepare and document the process.
  • Prepare reporting produce metrics and reporting on the state of system security, threat, vulnerability and patch management.
  • Experience in creating detailed technical reports about vulnerability scanning and hands findings over to resolver teams; responds to technical queries related to the reports and findings.
  • Experience in performing vulnerability research to identify new, previously unknown and unpublished vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application owners on security hotfixes.
  • Experience in supporting the cyber incident response team in specified vulnerability discovery and identification tasks during crisis management.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to develop requirements for service enhancements.
  • Experience in manually validation of vulnerabilities reported by automated vulnerability scanners.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability security trends and ability to clearly communicate them to the Clients.
  • Create SLAs and document deliverables for the vulnerability assessment program.
  • Creation of workflows and dashboards for vulnerability management process using Tenable SC.
  • Diagnose and resolve scanner software problems and restore normal operation.
  • Attend problem management meeting & weekly change management meetings and coordinating with team members regarding technical related issues.
  • Participates in meetings with client management.
  • SPOC for client team for coordination, communication and meetings with stakeholders (Tracks/teams etc.).

Experience:

  • Candidate should have at least years of professional experience in Vulnerability Management deployment and operations related roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands on experience using Vulnerability Management solution like Tenable SC, Qualys.
  • Should be self- motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Experience documenting technical standards and procedures.
  • Expertise in Windows and Linux platforms.

Soft skills/personality fit:

  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.
  • Experience in dealing with customers in multiple geographical locations.
  • Ability to effectively interact with Top and Middle Management.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to enable progress.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to make decisions and accept accountability for decisions.
