We are looking for a Professional Database Administrator in the area of Basel:Description:
- Planning and executing all database-related activities and operations.
- Developing and implementing system concepts; implementing, maintaining, monitoring and updating cross-platform distributed databases.
Tasks:
- Planning and monitoring the usage of databases
- Implementing, maintaining and operating distributed databases
- Monitoring the data integrity
- Executing database monitorings to processes, objects and reports
- Administrating database objects (table spaces, tables, indices, etc)
- Elaborating and executing database specific processes (security, reorganisation and restore)
- Troubleshooting measures in the operational environment of databases
- Carrying out repari actions on defective databases
- Establishing migration plans and executing migrations
- Oracle 8 - 11 on Windows
- SQL Server on Windows
- Good knowledged of Interface technologies (SOA, SOAP, Tibco or SAP PI ) are an advantage
