  To be proficient in C/C++ language as well as Verilog and/or VHDL.
• 
  
  Experience with source control tools (e.g. Git)
• 
  
  Ability to work with hardware engineers to specify and develop embedded products
• 
  
  Strong analytical, electrical and embedded design skills
• 
  
  Innovative Spirit and willingness to think outside the box

• 
  
  3-5 years of Xilinx FPGA experience, including a minimum of one product life cycle strongly preferred
• 
  
  Knowledge of Xilinx/Altera FPGAs
• 
  
  Experience in developing with Xilinx/Altera tools
• 
  
  Experience in developing with Texas Instruments DSP's.
• 
  
  Knowledgeable of I2C and SPI Bus Protocol and implementation preferred
• 
  
  Experience with communication interfaces such as RS232, RS422, SMPTE, CAN bus, TCP/IP, UDP and/or GPIB is a plus.
• 
  
  Knowledge of TCP/IP stacks and protocols is a plus.
• 
  
  Hands on Hardware Experience preferred.
• 
  
  PCB design software experience preferred.
• 
  
  Good working knowledge of C language in embedded systems.
• 
  
  Willingness to be a team member on a cross discipline team.
