Global Solution Architect – Datacenter (w/m/d) - MunichThe primary purpose of the role
The global solution architect is responsible for the design of one or more services within an organization. He or she must have a balanced mix of technical and business skills, and will often work with a team for strategic direction.
Designing a solution requires understanding how different parts of the business work together.
Key responsibilities
• Analyze and review ALL technical documents
• Constantly deal with analytical work
• Support preparation of decision templates
• Define deliverables (documents, solution designs, plans, etc..)
• Creation of detail project plans and timelines
• Align substream plans with the overall project plan
• Identify and follow up risks in time, cost and quality
• Maintain risk list / Define mitigations of risks / Identify and avoid risks
• Define Test scenarios / Define acceptance documents
• Set up of project organization
• Align project milestones
• Interface to Providers and internal regional workstreams
• Synchronize workstream- and provider- activities / Provider Mgmt
Qualification
• More than 4 years of experience in planning and infrastructure for datacenters
• More than 4 years of expertise in planning, testing, and installation of IT-Components in data center environments
• More than 4 years of experience in documenting and quality assurance of the measures
• More than 4 years of experience in coordinating and controlling the lifecycle of hardware at the datacenters
• More than 4 years of experience in provisioning and operating of the necessary data center infrastructures and the associated management of storage and backup resources

• Infrastructure (Datacenter, Clients, Network) overall knowledge
• Carve out know-how preferable
