Unser Kunde aus der Versicherungsbranche sucht einen Product Development Expert mit folgenden Aufgaben:- Product development: cross-functional team coordination, guidance and project management of the product development function to launch retail primary life insurance products. Also manage the periodic review and refinement of already launched products.
- Deliverables: responsible for the product development process, e.g. product specifications and documentation in line with IDD and other regulatory requirements.
- Process: working with other shareholders and client managers to maintain and continuously enhance the best practice product development process and associated tools and templates
- Market, product, distribution and regulatory knowledge: provide and research expert knowledge of life insurance products and competitor offerings. Developing a good understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks designed to ensure products are suitable for customers that can be applied across the product cycle
- Client support and discussions: contributions to client discussions related to products
Skills / Profil:
- Generalist experience of life insurance in Germany, ideally in terms of developing and launching life insurance propositions through multiple distribution channels
- Entrepreneurial and can do attitude and are comfortable working in an area that is fluid and dynamic
- Willing to challenge the status quo and bring innovative thinking to create new propositions for clients
- Ideally, familiar with German legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks for primary insurance
- Ability to communicate and present ideas and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable managing multiple deliverables, in project management and in cross- functional teams
- Fluent in German and English
