For our client located in Munich we are looking for a Design Engineer (m/f/d)Start: ASAP, full-time
Location: Munich, project can be done 100% remote
Duration: 3-6 monthsTasks:
- Design test rigs for aerospace parts and assemblies
- Create 3D parts and assemblies in CAD (Siemens NX)
- Derive fully dimensioned 2D technical drawings appropriate for production and certification
- Consult with engineers of other disciplines, for example Manufacturing Engineers regarding manufacturability of your designs
- University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (MSc/M.Eng preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace or automotive industry and/or testing is required
- Strong knowledge of Siemens NX is required (other CAD system knowledge will be considered)
- Advanced knowledge of ISO GPS (alternatively ASME GD&T) and overall good drafting skills are required
- Basic knowledge with PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent) is required
