Tätigkeit:For one of our customers in NRW we are searching for a Consultant (f/m) for the following tasks: the candidate will work as an MMS Planner. Main portion of the tasks will involve regular planning updates for MM3 (E-mail), MM4 (Interconnect), MM7 (VAS), SS7 interfaces through change requests. Working in an international operator environment with a central MMSC Platform implies various human and tool interfaces. An expertise is required with a solid background in large operator organisations. This experience is required to improve process and tools as well as to define future requirements to the vendors equipment, to gradually decrease the human efforts for the planning tasks. The very same expertise should be used to manage the control of the master configuration of the MMSC. An enforcement of the master configuration management should be established including regular auditing of the live network data including update of inconsistencies. Trouble shooting and incidence support is an essential task in this role supporting operations and various business stake holders. In this respect and to achieve efficiency, procedures should be established and documents to control the configuration files. Aspect of the control comprise establishment of versioning and verify consistencies of change requests and the actual configuration files as regular audits. Also service KPI improvements through configuration testing such as scripted MMS message transmission is another area. The candidate should have solid background to support project or upgrade related tasks. These experiences include capacity planning, performance monitoring, creating new profiles in the DB for Service Provider Business, setting up connections MTA instances on different security zones. Defining various security interfaces options and facilitate a team decision to fulfil all operational and security requirements on IP and application layer. Term: February - March 2011.
