C++/Linux Developer - Stuttgart, Germany - FL - +6 Months

Lead C/C++ Developer to join a team responsible for systems development, low latency trading environment. The Lead Developer will have experience in all phases of software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering, to design, coding, unit testing, debugging and supporting in production.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building low-latency, high capacity and error-free market data processing/consolidation application, matching engines or back end software systems to continue to maintain a leading position in low latency trading. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in multi-threading, relational database systems, C/C++ and associated debuggers. Strong written and oral communication as the applicant will frequently be interacting with the business and sales teams to achieve strategic business goals.
Responsibilities
Design and develop key system architecture
Guide and provide development leadership to other developers in the group
Perform impact analysis due to internal and external changes
Coordinate/communicate with other teams
Write readable, testable code with an eye for performance
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
7+ years hands on experience in C/C++ programming language on Linux
Experience with C++ unit testing frameworks like googletest and continuous integration (CI) tools
2+ years hands on scripting experience
Experience in building simulator and testing tools
Strong understanding of TCP/IP and Multicast network protocols
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Master's degree is a plus
Financial domain experience is a plus
Strong multithreading and performance-oriented programming skills
