My client is based in Berlin and is an innovative and future-oriented company. They are known for developing tailor-made mechatronic components and providing systems for the international automotive industry. They have made a name for themselves, providing its customers with the highest product quality on the market.
Job Description:
- You will be implementing a prototype of a cloud-based real-time capacity & traffic management system (CTMS)
- Comprising the components Shop, Schedule management and Supervisor
- Providing documentations of the implemented software
Requirements:
- 100% onsite, remote for the interim
- Expert knowledge of Java, Scala or Kotlin
- Practical experience with developing distributed service for deployment on Kubernetes
- Knowledge of the Confluent platform or plain Kafka
- Knowledge of CQRS and event sourcing
- Fluent English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Machine Learning/Deep Learning strategies and frameworks
- Knowledge of the Lightbend platform (Lagom/Akka) is a huge advantage
- Experience with event-driven microservices using Kafka as the messaging layer
