Functional Safety Engineer, Germany
My client is a multi-national company located in Germany near the Swiss border, they are currently in need of an experienced and talented Embedded Automotive Engineer to join their project team on a contract basis.
The company is a huge Tier One automotive company who develop devices and products for massive OEMs across Europe. They have been involved in Electronics design for products purely in the vehicle systems on vehicles as tiny as a two door car up to massive Heavy Goods Vehicles.
They need an experienced Functional Safety Engineer to help them to develop the Embedded software of their ADAS module that is designed towards the ISO 26262 in regards to functional safety. This of course means that the position would require someone that would be very heavily experienced in functional safety or critical safety systems.
This is a 6 months contract with the view to extend for a further 18 months due to the length and development cycle of the project.
Requirements of the Functional Safety Engineer:
- Functional Safety with ISO 26262 experience would be essential.
Or as an alternative- Agriculture standard 25119
- Machinery Standard: 13849
- Eligibility to work in the EU (essential)
- Ability to speak and write German fluently
- Electronics engineering background would be a desirable
