For my client in Munich I´m looking for a Big Data Product Owner (m/f/d).Responsibilites:
- Responsible for maximizing the value of the big data services offered as part of the Customer Global Data Platform
- Define and implement the strategy and the vision together with the team
- Gather, validate and prioritize client needs and own and maintain the requirement backlog
- Understand the customer needs, and translate them into meaningful, usable stories;
- Ensures that the team understands the backlog items to the needed level
- Be the "gate keeper" of our offer, and push back unnecessary request
- Responsible for defining and implementing the roadmap
- Represent the "voice of the customer" within the team
- Collaborate with the customers, other PO´s and the development team to deliver a solution
- Take responsibility for the platform services operations
- Support building the Big Data DevOps team
Required skills:
- Master or Bachelor in business informatics, computer science, or similar areas
- Experience as product owner in an Big Data team
- Technicalknowledgeandgeneralunderstandingoneormoreofthefollowingtopics:
- Software engineering / Continuous integration, deployment and delivery
- Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Neo4J)
- Distributed systems (e.g. Spark)
- Event Based systems (e.g. Kafka)
- Data Science Tooling (e.g. Jupyter, R-Studio, Zeppelin)
- Linux & Containerization
- Cloud Solutions & Services (e.g. Azure, AWS)
- Workflow orchestration and automation (e.g. Luigi)
- Critical thinking generated by observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, and communication.
- Able to demonstrate how customer centric thinking is expressed and reinforced through the digital product design processes
- Experience with common agile working tools (e.g. Jira, Slack, Confluence, Git)
- DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it; taking responsibility for your work)
- Team player open to work in an agile environment
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, other languages (e.g. German, French, Italian, etc.) are a plus
