Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,für einen Mandanten in Frankfurt suchen wir aktuell einen Berater im Bereich Softwarepaketierung für folgendes Projekt:
Application intaker and packaging Troubleshooter
- creation of application intake dossiers
- analyzing and solving findings in a Workplace Environment, especially in applications:
- experience in analyzing and solving findings in Application Packaging for MSI and AppV packages.
- understanding the application management process and experience in application testing Support application owners in making their software available on a new Windows 10 platform.
Currently, most applications have been packaged for a Windows 7 platform and the resource will work with application owners to get their application intakes dossier completed conform new standards and work with an India based packaging factory for delivery of software packages for the Windows 10 platform.
In the beginning the main focus will be analyzing the current applications, creating the intake dossiers and reversed engineering the current packages when no other information can be found.
After some time the focus will shift to also solving findings from Technical Test, User Acceptance Test of (business) applications and production issues in an international banking environment. This will include understanding why an application or package does not work on the new Windows 10 platform and/or why it does not communicate correctly with its relevant backend.
Activities will also include checking compliancy with the new platform, working with other parties (W10 platform build/firewall/network team/vendors) to resolve issues and working with packaging team to have complex applications packaged.
Additionally the candidate will perform activities in ensuring application ownership is prepared and embedded in the current organization.
