Software Engineer (m/w/d) 3D Visualization
For one of our clients in the area of Nürnberg, we are currently looking for a Software Engineer (m/w/d) 3D Visualization on a freelance basis.
Aufgabenbeschreibung:

You will work on optimizing the existing production pipeline for virtual product which is currently based on job distribution using Deadline and rendering in MODO. Your tasks will include:
  • Automating steps that are still done/triggered manually
  • Scaling the backend dynamically using AWS
  • Feeding information from the image creation pipeline back into the workflow management system
  • Monitoring and visualizing current utilization and progress of the render farm
Anforderungen:

Required
  • Proficient spoken and written command of English or German
  • At least 3 year of experience in VFX or game industry with a focus on pipeline engineering / configuration
  • Expert knowledge in Python
  • Proficiency in at least one 3D Tool (preferably Modo or Blender)
Strongly Prefered
  • Prior work with data bases and web stack (rest APIs)
  • Building scalable solutions in the cloud (AWS)
  • Basic knowledge in numerical mathematics and computer graphics / geometry processing
  • Experience in monitoring solutions and process status visualization (Grafana)
nice to have
  • Experience in working with render managers (Deadline)
  • Experience in workflow automation (TACTIC)
  • Experience in MongoDB
  • Experience in streaming platforms (Apache Kafka)
