For our client, a leading international high tech manufacturing company based in Munich, we are currently hiring a Financial/Accounting Analyst
Location: Munich
Project Start:
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Project Description:
- Improvement of reporting processes and tools considering the results of the latest audit performed by German Federal Bank (GFB)
- Implementation of a reporting process incl. detailed documentation of workflow, instructions, roles & responsibilities as well as memorandums on special reporting questions
- Project management function incl. definition of exact scope, monitoring of timelines and budget as well as quality review
- Simplification and automation of data analysis in order to reduce manual work processes
- Technical development and administrative support for external sector reporting (incoming and outgoing payments (transactions) as well as the status of claims, liabilities and direct investment)
- Ensuring timely and correct submission of monthly and annual reports (eg Z4, Z5, K3, K4)
Required Skills:
- University degree in business administration or similar qualification
- Profound relevant work experience, preferably with focus on Finance and Accounting
- Experience in external sector reporting (Meldewesen im Außenwirtschaftsverkehr) desirable but not required
- High level of ability to work autonomously, proactivity and creative problem-solving competence analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders and with geographically dispersed teams
- Experience of working in a large multinational organisation preferred
- Fluency in German and English required
