Our customer is currently looking for a Solution Architect (m/f/d) to fill an open position in Eschborn, Germany

Solution Architect (m/w/d)

Role description
- Responsible for the IT architecture and design definition and architecture documentation of the project tasks he is assigned including software changes or enhancements.
- Engages in projects (Online Banking) affecting the applications or service under their responsibility in order to:
- Determine and confirm technical and application related aspects of solution architecture and design, considering specific business constraints, requirements and dependencies.
- Determine and agree a software solution in accordance to the domain and enterprise architecture blueprint and with regard to the long-term application portfolio strategy including total cost of application.
- Contribute to and/or review high-level and low-level design documentation and approve.
- Measure the quality of the developed solution from an architecture perspective and ensure the conformance of delivered software with predefined quality metrics.
- As part of Solution Architect role, ensures alignment to Enterprise and Domain Architecture standards and processes and ensure usage of Enterprise and Domain Architecture assets, where possible.
- Contribute technical and application related aspects to the overall Enterprise and Domain Architecture blueprints
- Responsible for all technical and application related aspects of solution architecture and security, maintainability, scalability, effective integration with other solutions, usage of shared solutions and components where possible, optimization of the resource consumption) with the objective to drive the appropriate balance between business needs and total cost of ownership.
- Responsible for discovering, promoting and executing maintainable and sustainable solutions and reusable software components/functions following the architecture principles of PW&CC Technology and especially the guidelines of the lead solution architects of Channels.
- Initial projects tasks are in the area of DB Mobile and Online Banking, supporting the migration phase of OnlineBanking  API to a microservice oriented architecture hosted on the strategic PAAS platform of Deutsche Bank (Fabric).

Skills required
- Experience in full stack development (Java & frameworks)
- Experience in REST API development and underlying concepts like microservice architecture
- Large scale API implementation, management and operation
- Experience in iOS / android platform architecture and development
- Experience in Software lifecycle management and delivery: DevOps, CI/CD
- IT security experience: web/application/mobile security, encryption, PKI
- Overall 5-10 years of experience in IT delivery and architecture, of which at least 3-5 years as an Architect and 3-5 years in IT Delivery as technical project manager
- Ability to work in fast paced environments with competing and alternating priorities, with a constant focus on quality
- Proven ability to balance business demands and IT fulfillment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility
