For a customer in Eschborn, Germany we are currently looking for an

Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Scope of work
- Support within the creation of business cases and identification of effort- and cost drivers of the proposed solution
- Involvement of customer, program- and project manager as well as additional participants, if necessary, in the process of finding a solution as technical contact person
- Support within feasibility studies and effort estimations
- Responsibility that technical solutions correlate with the specified architecture
- Ensurance of reusability of internal and external program packages
- Performance of Solution-, Design- and Code-Reviews according to the four-eye principle
- Support of third-level-Support for applications, technical infrastructure and system software like data bases and middleware
- Support for problem- and root cause analysis
- Support within the planning and organization of release-deployments

Skills required
- Understanding of current 2- or rather 3-Tier Architecture (Frontend, Middleware, Backend) as well as the basic principles of software interfaces and service orientated architecture
- Understanding of correlation of agile software development with the waterfall model for the system of records
- Knowledge of quality management tools and techniques e.g. QMS-processes and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- German and English business fluent spoken and written
- Knowledge of Tools/Processes HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Jira, Service Now
- Preferably knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and technologies, which will be in use: Java, Oracle Database 12 (active-active), REST (JSON), Fabric (Redhat Openshift)
