We are looking for a project manager. This is requested for a Ariba Simple Sourcing Suite project.The project has the purpose of shaping corporate solutions for various IT topics in the area of Source To Pay in general and Source to Purchase (STP) in particular.
Your goal is to drive the innovation and business process optimization in order to improve business capabilities.
Tasks:
- Professional consulting Procurement and IT regarding market trends and implementation of new technologies in the area of STP
- Designing and optimizing global processes related to strategic and operational STP processes
- Leading the blueprints of projects and act as project manager to optimize the STP solutions landscape
o Introducing pilots of new solutions
o DocuSign, additional interfaces for data exchanges between applications,
o Prototyping software solutions to determine their viability
o Digital and Cognitive Procurement software to reduce time consumption in the area of Procurement
- Leading mid-size teams with the corresponding number of project team members (up to 20)
- Analysing the Purchasing and Supply Chain Processes to identify gaps and optimize the processes
- Provide technical expertise regarding the extension and enhancement of core applications
o Introducing pilots of new solutions
o SAP Ariba Sourcing Suite
o Sharepoint
o PURIS
o EDW
o Value Chain Steering
- Professional consulting Procurement and IT regarding adaptations to process templates according to change requests raised by the user community
- Calculation of business cases according to client standards with business counterparts to compile a set of recommended implementation solutions in the area of STP
- Drive change management by
o Analysing technical feasibility of the recommended implementation solutions
o Providing professional expertise regarding documentation and training to lead stakeholders
Required key skills:
- Very good experience in project management
- Experience with system integration and design
- Ariba experience
Project overview:
- Start: March/April 2020
- Duration: 9+ months
- Workload: 4-5 days per week
- Location: Düsseldorf, Germany and remote
- Language: English
