Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Location: Celle, Germany
Job Duration: 12 Months contract
Central Tasks:
- Review of client specifications and support of tender activities
- Design and modification of components and assemblies, including creation of drawings, bills of materials and test procedures
- Preparation of engineering documentation like operation and maintenance manuals, installation procedures, maintenance procedures
- Definition of functional requirements for purchased parts and clarification with suppliers
- Support of suppliers during project execution to ensure the equipment meets the technical requirements
- Failure investigation, creation of rework and retest instructions, as well as investigation reports
- Technical support for and interface clarifications with clients as well as Client Celle internal and other Client plants worldwide
Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering (Bachelor, Master) or comparable education
- Knowledge and experience in design engineering, entry-level applicants are also welcome
- Good written and spoken German and English (German language level B1).
- Good communication skills
- Good computer knowledge (MS Office)
- Good knowledge in 2D & 3D CAD programs
- Knowledge in FEA calculation
- Competency in persuasion, decisiveness, self-reliance and teamwork
