Job Role: INN Test Engineer/ Optical Transport Network Engineer
Location: Munich
Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
Language Requirement : English Mandatory and German: Good to have and NOT mandatory

Job Details:
• Optical Transport Network Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of 2G, 3G and 4G technologies and types of connectivity
• Solid knowledge of transport technologies such as Microwaves, xWDM, SDH, PDH and IP/MPLS.

Main Responsibilities:
• End to End testing of network element, troubleshooting and problem reporting.
• Regular interaction with the customer about operations, issues, risks, status updates and sending daily/weekly reports.
• Test Design Review
• Test Case Creation
• Prepare Test/Release Documentation.
• Provide periodic reports to client Project Manager and stakeholders

Required qualifications:
1. Very good Telecom Network knowledge like 2G, 3G and 4G
2. Working knowledge on Transmission Technologies
3. Working knowledge on different Network types like:
A. Routers from vendors Huawei, Nokia and Coriant
B. Cross Connect (CC) using as a Switch
4. Good working experience on Transport Technologies like SDH,PDH, IP and MPLS
5. Good Knowledge on NMS (Network Management System):
Ex: U2000 from Huawei and NetAct from Nokia
6. Practical knowledge on Network Elements of different vendors.
A. Base Station for 2G
B. NodeB for 3G
C. eNodeB for 4G
7. Very good Network Testing skills:
A. Requirement Analysis
B. Test Case Design
C. Quality Execution of Test Cases
D. Test Management and Bug Tracking Management tools
8. Desired skills:
A. Good understanding of Database
B. Should have worked on BMC Remedy
9. English language skills in speaking and writing.German language skills will be added advantage.
10. Experience: Over 6+ Years
