Education: Economics (MBA, Diploma) or comparable qualification and a financial graduation with focus on Controlling or significant experience as a Senior Controller in a
manufacturing environment.
Experience:
• 3 years+ of experience as a Controller in an Automotive Tier 1 supplier organization.
• 5 years experience as Controller in a manufacturing plant.
• Must have used SAP in previous professional life for at least 3 years.
Know-how / personal competencies:
• Good business experience and strong understanding of Controlling in an industrial
• environment, cost accounting principles, cost center accounting, internal company product
• transfers, profit eliminations and multiple primary and secondary cost elements.
• Strong SAP experience (details see below)
• Customer orientation
• Open minded personality and a team worker
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated presentation skills in front of large groups
• Assertive appearance
• Autonomous, goal orientated and reliable working style
• Ambitious, focus on continuous improvement
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and information processing skills
• Ability and willing to work in an international environment of an US-company
• Understanding of Automotive “speech” and processes
Tasks / Responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop the SAP Model of my client for Controlling Europe-wide.
• Work in close contact with the Controlling department of my client both centrally in Manheim and in
• all European countries of my client to understand the business requirements. Work with all
• required internal local or international customers.
• Document Controlling related requirements / issues. Analyse the situation and propose
• solutions.
• Implement the decided solutions: test the solutions, develop documentations and train the
• key users.
• Use the guidelines of my client and methodology to provide support for all live SAP Controlling users.
• Propose ways to improve the processes and support the implementation of improvements.
• Report periodically about all activities using the group reporting tools
• Member of the SAP Regional competency center (RCC). Very close teamwork with the
• other members of the RCC to ensure the integrity with the other SAP modules.
• Teamwork with all the SAP teams for development and deployment of the My client’s SAP FI model.
IT-Know how:
• SAP ECC 5.0 or 6.0 key user:
• Demonstrated design experience in SAP FI/CO with strong knowledge of CO-PA.
• Experience with the integration of MM and PP modules is a requirement, knowledge in SAP
• BW is helpful.
• Knowledge of and experience with SAP IDOC structures, ABAP fundamentals and SAP
• files structures is favourable.
• Very good experience in the standard MS Office programmes
Language skills:
• English fluent
• other European language welcome (German, French, Polish, Czech)
Business trips: up to 50% on an annual average
Package: basic salary €75 000 plus 10% bonus
